Diana Ariza

Senior Title Claims Analyst

Dina Ariza joined Title Resolution Services in 2008. Ms. Ariza has over ten years of law firm experience and is presently a Senior Title Claims Analyst.  She has experience in real estate and title insurance law, escrow disputes, and interpleader actions, as well as intellectual property law, employment and labor law. 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ariza worked for over 4 years as a certified bilingual Spanish-speaking claims adjudicator for the State of California, Employment Development Department.  After graduating from law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal at the intellectual property law firm of Ladas & Parry, LLP where she not only managed discovery and other pre-trial matters of cases involving patent, copyright, and trademark issues, but also worked on documents for trademark prosecutions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  Ms. Ariza also served as a law clerk for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company’s in-house counsel, Corral, Muhar, Chase, Parish & Arnett.  While working there, Ms. Ariza drafted motions, negotiated the resolution of multiple medical liens and made appearances at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. 

At Hershorin & Henry, Ms. Ariza is responsible for managing civil and business litigation matters from their inception through the trial phase. To date, Ms. Ariza has garnered experience in aspects of real estate, title insurance and business litigation and has drafted all forms of pleadings and discovery, including those related to actions to quiet title and equitable subrogation.  Additionally, Ms. Ariza has facilitated out of court negotiations for clients in English and in Spanish.

Ms. Ariza received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Environmental Design in Developing Countries from the University of California, Berkeley.  In 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier College, School of Law and, upon graduation, obtained her Certificate in International and Comparative Law.  During law school, Ms. Ariza was a judicial extern for both Judge Robert J. Timlin (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California and Judge William M. Monroe of the Superior Court of California, Orange County.  Ms. Ariza was an executive board member of the Moot Court Honors Board and won Best Regional Oral Team in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Competition.  She also participated in the semester abroad program and studied law at the University of Cantabria in Santander Spain.  While in Spain, Ms. Ariza was also a law clerk at L.P.S. Abogados, a Spanish boutique firm specializing in civil matters.
